OK here it is, straight from the Book: "The Biggest Technique problem at the moment is the Paddle Release and Return. Remember your power stroke is over when your paddle passes over your knee. It is then time to release. No weight or power should be applied once your power stroke has finished, as this will cause drag on the boat. When you return your paddle, relax the wrist and elbow, feather the paddle forward by "cocking' the elbow and turning the knuckles of your bottom hand towards the canoe. The key to release and return is RELAXATION"

change of clothes, hat, towel, aquatic shoes or sandals and a drink bottle.
